Disposable Vapes VS Refillable Vapes

Every time you walk into a smoke shop or vape shop you usually see both disposable and refillable vapes (more commonly knows as vape mods or mods). They're both vapes but they're different in so many ways.

We'll be discussing the main differences between disposables and mods in this article and by the end you'll be able to know which vape is the right one for you!

#1: Disposable Vapes

Disposable vapes come in many shapes and sizes, nowadays some are even rechargeable with a charging port attached to the bottom (usually a USB-C Port).

As the name suggests after the initial vape juice or e-juice runs out and the battery dies out these little bundles of smoke go right to the trash can never to be seen or heard from again.

Pros:

• They have a wide range of flavors

• The are easy to use (just inhale)

Cons:

• Their flavors are set and cannot be changed

• Fragile designs

• No indicator of when it's empty until the last hit

• Prone to burning the coil when charging

#2: Refillable Vapes

The two main categories when discussing refillable vapes are Pod Systems and Mods

While both are re-usable and re-fillable there are some important differences between the two

Pod Systems

Pod system vapes vapes that come in two pieces a pod at the top where you refill the vape juice and replace the coil (sometimes the coil and the pod may come as a one piece) and the battery or the "body" of the vape where the power source is stored and where you can change the wattage (if applicable) for the exact amount of flavor and smoke you like.

Pros:

• Very portable

• Adjustable wattage (when applicable)

• Not Expensive

• Easy to use

• Vape juices have the widest range of flavors

• Vape juices can be mixed to create new flavors

Cons:

• Coils and Pods need to be changed up often

• The vape juice might leak depending on usage

• Burning taste or "dry hit" if the pods run out of e-juice

Mods

Vape mods as the name suggests can be modified to suite every all your vape needs. When it comes to vape mods the "body" is what's considered the actual mod and the "head' is what's known as a tank. The tanks is where the juice is filled and the mod is where you insert batteries (if applicable) and adjust everything from temperature to wattage,

Pros:

• Coils last longer in mods

• Adjustable wattage (when applicable)

• Adjustable temperature

• Vape juices have the widest range of flavors

• Vape juices can be mixed to create new flavors

• Mods are customizable

• You can get different tanks with the same mod to change how your vape smokes

• More professional and chic than other vapes

Cons:

• Not vey portable

• More expensive than other vaping options

• Tank glass can break

• Batteries take longer to charge

• Mouth Piece needs to be cleaned often
